Pinebush Technologies, Inc. initially developed
Hyperplot to solve printing and plotting bottlenecks
in the semiconductor industry. It is now the
industry standard plotting solution for Electronic
Design Automation (EDA).
Few software applications in EDA have achieved the acceptance of the
worldwide IC Design community to such a great degree as has HyperPlot.
With its tens of thousands of users, HyperPlot is truly a standard in
all areas of the world for the plotting of IC design data. Through
very high quality standards and rigorous stress testing, HyperPlot
enables the User to rest assured that this small but
difficult task in IC design will not take resources away from other critical
parts of the design process.
- The defacto standard in integrated circuit plotting.
- The highest performance, highest capacity IC plotting solution available.
- More features than any other solution.
- Most cost effective solution with multiple ownership models available.
- Unlimited File Size.
- Unlimited Plot Size.
- Full Cadence integration direct to both the DF-II and Open Access databases.
- Full Postscript integration.
- Cross-platform integration.
As IC designs get more complex, data files are often so large that
your output device can't do the job (or even accept the format.) It's
too slow and the size of the printed image is limited to the size of the
output device. Often, the device simply runs out of memory.
HyperPlot solves this problem. It RIPs the data on your workstation or
server and creates the dots that are sent directly to the output device. HyperPlot is
extremely fast and can handle unlimited input. If your image is bigger than the output
device can handle, HyperPlot simply splits the image into tiles and creates
tile identification markings, making it easy to piece together.
Benefits &
Features:
- Contains a high performance proprietary RIP optimized for EDA applications.
- Processes huge hybrid files containing raster and vector data.
- Has a rich set of scaling and annotation features that far exceed the capabilities of printer/plotter and software RIPs.
- Runs standalone or on a server, off-loading the local workstation from processing the output.
- Contains a true print previewer that allows you to proof and edit a job before printing - saving time and printer supplies.
- Exports to JPEG, TIFF, and PDF
- Creates PDF files from any Windows application.
- Contains accounting features for tracking resource usage.
- Automatically tiles images.
- Annotates plots with labels, rulers, plot ID's, and legends.
- Mirrors or reverses your image.
- Can crop a small "window" section of your image to blow up.
- Create legends to differentiate layers in applications where the data is located on separate layers.
- Offers Color Controls:
- to enhance halftoning, using the Floyd-Steinberg (error diffusion) algorithm for smooth color transitions
- to apply gamma corrections to adjust color levels
- to adjust image brightness and contrast
True Print Previewer:
- Has a super fast preview to verify print or plot orientation and annotation.
- Has spatially organized thumbnails to view multi-tiled plots.
- Has the ability to preset default preferences.
Annotated Viewer:
- Markup documents with:
- Lines & Arrows
- Circles & Ellipses
- Rectangles
- Freehand Tool
- Text
- Block out sensitive information on your images
- Export to JPEG format with or without annotation.
- "Mail-to" someone else directly from the viewer.
Our HyperServer:
- Offloads the rasterization to a dedicated HyperPlot server host, relieving the local host of the computation burden.
- Has a graphical interface to track jobs.
- Allows for delayed submission.
