Highest Performance, Highest Capacity, Lowest Cost
Raster Image Processor (RIP) Solution for the GIS, CAD,
and other Technical markets
September 26, 2005 - Albany, NY
Pinebush Technologies, Inc., the leading developer of high
performance printing and plotting software for
semiconductor, CAD, GIS, A/E/C, and other technical
markets, today announced the availability of HyperXpress®
5.0. HyperXpress is a high performance software
raster image processor (RIP) designed to enhance
productivity by dramatically decreasing the time it takes
to print large, complex raster and vector images.
HyperXpress is seamlessly integrated into design
environments to enable fast, high quality printing to any
desktop or wide format output device.
HyperXpress was created by Pinebush Technologies after
solving the high performance plotting problem in the
semiconductor industry with its now de facto standard
HyperPlot ®. This high performance technology is
now available inside HyperXpress for GIS, aerial
photography, satellite imaging, civil engineering,
architecture, and various other CAD and scientific
applications. HyperXpress is available in three
versions for different environments: Desktop, Network, and
Server.
HyperXpress offloads the printer and does all the RIPing
(Raster Image Processing) on a workstation. Images
processed by HyperXpress will get to paper faster, and be
of higher quality than if the printer tried to do the work
itself. Large data sets often cause the printer to
run out of memory, or print slower than when driven by
HyperXpress. HyperXpress drives printers and plotters
at full speed and only requires a minimal amount of memory
to be installed on the output device.
“HyperXpress is suited for small to large
offices”, said Robin Warren, Pinebush
Technologies’ Director of Operations.
“Our Desktop solution is terrific for small offices
or single-user situations. The Network product is an
extraordinarily cost-effective solution when there are
multiple users and the Server product can satisfy the
largest of installations. HyperXpress is
extraordinarily easy to use and has been thoroughly
battle-tested with the thousands of users from every major
company in the semiconductor industry”, concluded Ms.
Warren.
HyperXpress is currently in use by multiple city, state,
and military organizations in the government sector,
telecom companies, architectural firms, and other GIS and
CAD companies.
Availability and Pricing
HyperXpress 5.0 is available September 26, 2005.
HyperXpress is priced significantly less than
competitive RIPs, beginning at $595 per single copy for the
Desktop version. HyperXpress evaluation software is
available at Pinebush Technologies’ web site:
